However for Count Luigi he wanted to capture the essence of this feeling so looked to create a mixture of locally produced products. First by planting an olive grove with the future intention of harvesting its oil, he then planted a vineyard on the front garden so newlyweds could not only see the rich grapes on their walk back from the church, but one day taste them too. More recently he’s built beehives within the grounds which after feeding on beautiful local flora create a unique tasting honey.
